Revolution of ONE
Over the past several weeks, Egypt has experienced a historical change that has inspired the world. The challenge ahead, however, runs much deeper. In this action-oriented workshop, we will explore how to transform our environment, our society, our families, and our own selves by igniting the revolution inside. Although we have made great progress in such a short amount of time, we may find that the Revolution of One has just begun.
Bayan for Human Development would like to share with you this session "Revolution of ONE" on Thursday 10th of March 2011 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Library Hall, Masjed Al Sedik. This course will be handled by the instructors; "Amir Abdelzaher and Arfan Qureshi". For more information, check below.
This Session will reflect on the Revolution, try to ignite the deeper inner revolution in our hearts and overthrow any oppression we find there.
In this workshop you will meet
Amir Abdelzaher; Mr. Abdelzaher was raised between the United States and Egypt and has just completed his PhD in Environmental Engineering from the University of Miami, FL (May 2010). His dissertation focused on "Recreational beach water regulation and public health" and has published several articles, presented at national and international conferences, as well as co-authored a book chapter on his research.
Arfan Qureshi; Mr. Qureshi has a Master's Degree from a joint program between Oxford University's SAID Business School and HEC Paris's School of Business focusing on Change Management Coaching and Consulting. He also has a Master's degree from Michigan State University in Social and Personality Psychology. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami with a double major in Psychology and Computer Science, as well as a minor in Mathematics.
