From Inspirational Management Workshop

With all the pressure organizations are going through, managers from all levels experience a new set of challenges in managing their teams. these challenges start from motivating the team members, managing performance, managing frustrations and planning in such a changing environment. Managers feel that those standard tools aren’t working anymore. Systems and proper procedures are not realistic and can't be actual solutions.


Workshop Objective :
In this workshop we’ll introduce a new paradigm for management that goes beyond just the standard management pillars to a new whole level of inspiring your team to create miracles!

       Act For Impact Workshop

Our modern era is characterized by the increasing busyness of our lives. We are continuously being pulled apart by the competing demands of our work, our families, our friends, as well as our communities that give us more tasks, challenges, and stimuli than we can possibly respond to. Unfortunately, this apparent busyness more often resembles a treadmill, where we end right where we begin. This program will take participants on a journey from reactionary patterns of behavior to creating a life of purposeful, powerful action that truly leaves an impact upon the world.


Workshop Objective :
This workshop will take managers on a journey from reactionary patterns of behavior to creating a life of purposeful, powerful action that truly leaves an impact upon their teams.

Time: Workshops start at 6:00 PM and ends by 9:00 PM

The Instructors : 

Marwa Farouq Al-Hefnawi;
Mrs. Marwa Farouq Al-Hefnawi, a Management Consultant, has a management and HR consulting experience serving diverse clients in different industries including Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Banking and Cosmetics Industry. She is a specialist on areas of Organizational Diagnosis, Human Capital Development, Coaching and Leadership Development. Mrs. Al-Hefnawi started as a Teaching Assistant in the Management of Information Systems Department in the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. Subsequently, she joined ProMark Ltd. as an HR Consultant Associate, where she implemented Organization Development Projects and Human Resources related assignments, such as Gap Analysis and Diagnostic Studies, Organization Structuring, Personnel Assessment and Training Needs Analysis. She also wrote Articles in a DG Magazine, a social magazine.Mrs. Al-Hefnawi holds a Bachelor Degree in Management Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. She also holds MBA with a major in Human Resources Management from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. She is also a certified life coach from Primeast Consulting in the UK. She has been working with Skopos Consulting for almost four years, where she worked on Organizational Development projects in various countries in the Middle East and Africa, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Nigeria, and Jordan 


 

Ahmad El Nashar
Ahmad el Nashar is currently an organization development consultant for Skopos Consulting and is based in Cairo, Egypt Mr. El-Nashar has been working for more than 10 years in the fields of Business Development, Logistics Management and Consultancy across various industries with a number of regional and multinational organizations Mr. El-Nashar started as the Import Sales Manager at Maersk Sealand, Egypt. During his tenure he established and lead both the Import Sales department of the company as well as the Global Accounts department. He then moved to work with Qatar Central Bank in the Banking Control Department, where he evaluated and revised the country's regulatory laws and regulations for banks and financial institutions in accordance with standards set by the IMF and the Basel Committee and engaged with a multinational consultancy firm in the restructuring of the banking control department. Then, he worked as a freelance consultant in strategy and commercial management, where he engaged with Malaysian International Shipping Company (MISC). He supervised the establishment of the commercial headquarters of the company in Cairo, this involved implementing new commercial strategies, creating an improved organizational structure that resulted in the establishment of defined commercial business units and departments, and developing the technical and managerial capacity of employees at various levels in the organization His experience as a Business Development Manager in Raya Distribution gave him further exposure in the Middle East market and he was able to secure two of the company's biggest regional agency with Imate and Canon for Egypt and North Africa. He also lead the team that established the organizational and strategic setup for both agencies. Following that, he took over the role of the Business Development Manager and later the Country Liner Logistics Manager in the Norwegian Multinational Wilhelmsen Ship Services, where his work involved leading and managing the liner logistics operations in Egypt, securing and establishing new business setups in international logistics, conducting supply chain consultancy assignments to regional and multinational clients, and participating in establishing regional commercial strategies for the company. This provided him with an exposure to multi-cultural work forces covering various geographical areas and industry sectors including the Automobile, Military, Petrochemical, and FMCG sectors During his tenure with SKOPOS, he engaged in several OD projects across the Middle East. This included providing coaching services to senior executives, designing and implementing cultural transformation programs at an organization and department level, setting up and building the capacity of HR and OD departments, and facilitating numerous teambuilding and functional capacity building sessions. Ahmad lead the employee development team for Skopos and currently facilitates a number of technical development sessions to company staff. Mr. El Nashar is a Co-Founder of an innovative and award winning cross cultural initiative named zero-net and a cross cultural oriented translation company called Dar el Tarjama. Mr. El Nashar holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo. Post Graduate studies include a Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Lloyds Maritime Academy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management from Edinburgh Business School. He is a certified Culture Transformation Tool (CTT) consultant. 


Arfan Qureshi;
Mr. Qureshi has a Master's Degree from a joint program between Oxford University's SAID Business School and HEC Paris's School of Business focusing on Change Management Coaching and Consulting. He also has a Master's degree from Michigan State University in Social and Personality Psychology. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Miami with a double major in Psychology and Computer Science, as well as a minor in Mathematics. Mr. Arfan Qureshi is a Management Consultant at SKOPOS Consulting, primarily working within the regions of the Middle East and Africa. His most recent work has included projects in Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Nigeria, as well as Iraq. He has previously worked for Sun Microsystems in Menlo Park, California. During his graduate study at Michigan State University, Mr. Qureshi helped lead the Group Dynamics Laboratory, which focused on research in the areas of group performance, group decision-making, and group cooperation. He also taught a number of courses within psychology, research methods, as well as data analysis
